Here are my top books from what I’ve read in 2016. I love to read, but didn’t get any where near my goal. I did get over 60 books read, but I used to go through 3 to 4 books a week. I guess being a responsible adult with a “real” job and working on your passion takes a ton of time from everything else!
My top books are pretty strong towards nonfiction, especially books about writing. Can you imagine that? Inconceivable! (Kudos if you get the movie that pops into my brain every time I hear that word!) I do have some pretty sweet fiction reads for ya’ll as well. Let’s start with those! All of these are in no particular order!

Reading Plans for 2017
I have a goal to read at least 50 books in the coming year. I’ll probably adjust that number depending on life stuff…cuz we all know life can get crazy! You can check out my progress on my Goodreads Page if you’re interested!
I’m also committed to writing at least 500 words a day for this month (31 days total). I’m already behind, but at least I’m writing something! I fell into a slump after NaNoWriMo this year. I dunno why, but I did. I’m still struggling my way out of it. Winter time blues maybe? Probably just sick of working the “real” job blues, lol!
So, what were your favorite books this past year? Have you set any reading goals for this year? How about resolutions or big life change goals for the year? Tell me all about them in the comments!
